Please note that the Annual General Meeting is being held this Monday, 21st May at Doncaster RFC Ltd, Castle Park, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5QB starting at 7.00 pm prompt. Any continuing Member Club failing to be represented at an AGM will be fined but does not have to be represented by it's Secretary, any club official is acceptable. Two delegates can be sent by each club. |

This year will see the first Presentation Evenings dedicated to the presentation of trophies and medals to all League Divisional winners and runners-up. These events have been arranged in conjunction with Doncaster Free Press and Doncaster Rovers FC and will be held in The Restaurant at The Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster, DN4 5JW (Entrance via East Stand, Success Doncaster Reception). Entry is by ticket only. The timetable is as follows;
Friday 18th May Under 11's (6.00pm for prompt 7.00pm start - Finish 8.00pm). Under 15's (8.30pm for prompt 9.00pm start).
Friday 25th May Under 13's (6.00pm for prompt 7.00pm start - Finish 8.00pm). Under 14's (8.30pm for prompt 9.00pm start).
Saturday 26th May Under 12's (6.00pm for prompt 7.00pm start - Finish 8.00pm). Under 16's (8.30pm for prompt 9.00pm start).

Our Under 7's & 8's Administrator, Mick Axe, has managed to obtain some sponsorship that is aimed at supporting the start-up of a Mini Soccer team.
We have decided to aim this at the Under 7's for 2012/13 who will all be new teams to our league. Our plan is that for every team that has the minimum number of registered players (five) registered by Friday 18th May we will place that team in a draw and the winning team will win the following; Ten full kits including goalkeeper with printing, badge, logo & number plus Team Rain Jackets with printing.
The sponsor is BLG who are a German company who run the contract for the logistics side of operations for IKEA and we are very grateful to BLG and Mick for agreeing and arranging this.
The new player registration form for 2012/13 is now available on the website and needs to be completed in full, and accompanied by a photo (j peg format on disk or memory stick or by email), a copy of the birth certificate and payment of £4 per registration (Chq payable to DDJSFL or cash). We hope this generous contribution from BLG will give all clubs an extra incentive to get their Under 7's registration's for 2012/13 in as soon as possible. |

The Special General Meeting held on Monday 13th February voted unanimously to introduce new rules for the DDJSFL. These rules take effect immediately and can be found on our website under Rules/Forms and then Standard Code of Rules. Everyone should take some time to read these thoroughly.
There are many changes but in the short term the most noteworthy from a playing point of view are; Under 11's will play 30 minutes each half, Under 13's will play 35 minutes each half and Under 15's will play 40 minutes each half. Kick Off times can now be set by the home team at any time between and including 9.30 and 11.30. Only times outside of this period need to be by mutual agreement. The home club must give full details of any match 5 days prior to the match (Tuesday for a Sunday fixture). In 11-a-side fixtures 6 substitutes can be used (and repeat substitutions are allowed as previously) so if a team has 17 registered players, all those players can now be involved on match day.

The Special General Meeting of the DDJSFL held on Monday 13th February voted overwhelmingly to introduce 9-a-side football for the Under 11's for season 2012/13. In other words, this season's Under 10's will NOT now be playing 11-a-side football next season.
The squad size that will be allowed will be discussed at the LMC meeting on Monday 5th March in order to put a proposal to the Annual General Meeting in May. For guidance for Under 10's managers who are making their plans for next season the general mood of the meeting was that the size of squad should be set at around 15 or 16 players. It is not our intention that this move results in youngsters being excluded from the game.
Regarding the Laws of the Game they are the same as for 11-a-side football with the exception of the pitch size (dimensions available from League Office).Repeat substitutions are allowed and the duration of play will be 30 minutes each half.
